Preferred by Nature is organizing 2 webinars on the new EU deforestation regulation, one in French on Wednesday, January 25 from 12:00 to 13:15 CET, the other in Spanish on Thursday, January 26 from 15:00 to 16:15 CET.
Are you aware of the new European deforestation regulation and does it apply to you? Do you need to understand the requirements and what they mean in practice? Join us in this upcoming webinar, where our experts will explain it all in detail!
On December 6, 2022, the EU reached agreement on a new regulation aimed at preventing the marketing on the EU market of products linked to deforestation and forest degradation or exporting these products from the EU. The regulation includes seven commodities within the scope of the EU regulation: soybeans, livestock, palm oil, timber, cocoa, coffee and rubber. It also covers various by-products such as leather, chocolate, charcoal, furniture and paper.
Register for our next free webinar to get a clearer overview of the key elements and requirements of the EUDR. In addition to the introduction of the regulation, the session will explain other elements, such as the due diligence obligation imposed on operators and traders, and how controls and enforcement actions will be carried out under this new EU regulation.
