The Commissions bring together the members of the Association who want to contribute to discussions on the main issues of the sector, sometimes with external contributors.
In order to be as close as possible to the realities of the field and the stakes of the sector, ATIBT is surrounded by thematic working groups, on a voluntary basis.
The groups are defined as follows :
THE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL, which gathers leading scientists from the sector, both members and non-members of ATIBT.

THE COMMISSIONS, which bring together the members of the Association, sometimes with external participants, who wish to contribute to the reflection on the main challenges of the sector.
The Marketing Commission is mobilized around the themes carried out by the ATIBT marketing program.
DiscoverThe Certification Commission consists of specialists in the fields of planning, sustainability and certification.
DiscoverThe Training Commission aims to create a network that facilitates exchanges regarding the supply and demand of training sessions.
DiscoverThe Timber material & Normalisation Commission aims to create a network of experts to discuss collective developments and strategies to establish and react at the normative level.
DiscoverThe Forest Industry Commission aims to reflect on the future of management plans, as well as to encourage better wood processing in producer countries.
DiscoverThe Scientific Council has a critical and independent opinion on ATIBT activities, while benefiting from the framework of the Association.
DiscoverAgroforestry is making a strong comeback in many forums and projects because of the advantages offered by this model. The ATIBT wanted to take hold of the subject as well.
DiscoverThe general objective of the ATIBT carbon commission is to strengthen the link, still weak today, between forest operators and carbon markets, but also, more recently, on biodiversity issues.
