COMMITMENT FOR 2025 – 100% CERTIFIED WOOD STOCK
Vandecasteele is committed to sustainably supplying wood from well-managed forests. Through our responsible purchasing procedures, we can guarantee the legality and traceability of our timber. The company invests in new computer tools to track and trace wood from the source and ensure that the origin of the wood is in accordance with the EUTR. Since the creation of the company, five generations have put their know-how at its service. To ensure the sustainability of the trade, it is essential that timber harvesting is carried out in an ecological and sustainable manner. Since its first certification in 1999, the company has continued this long-term commitment, which is the govorning principle at all levels. Most woods already have FSC®, PEFC, OLB or NEPCON legal Source certification. For the year 2025 the company undertakes to buy only certified wood.
