He comes from a family in timber business. His grandfather was the agent of east asia timber company in Portugal, and his dad of DLH, Tropicabois, Btai, Bta and Precious-Woods. He now works as agent for many the ex-DLH members trading companies that formed after like timberlink.
His dad, Francisco Mourao, was an ATIBT grader/member.
Due to the small size of the Portuguese market nowadays, he founded his own trading company in Porto, MOURAO WOOD UNIPESSOAL LDA. That trades 100% only in african species since 2017. He is FSC certified and intend to pursue tropical hardwood business for as long as possible.
Now Francisco Mourao lives between Porto and London.
