Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) should not be seen as a hermetic technique reserved for HR experts. On the contrary, it is a powerful means of company development, as it allows, among other things:

  • rationalisation of work situations (positions) and general work organisation (distribution of activities between departments and teams)
  • an ability to anticipate changes affecting activities and professions: new machines, new regulations, new processes, and therefore the need to adapt employees' skills
  • development of the company's agility: the company must regularly adapt to strategic and market imperatives (products, customers, competitors, etc.) and, from this point of view, the GPEC is a powerful lever for supporting transformations.

Following on from the 8 GPEC training sessions for HR staff in 2021 and 2022, and to enable company directors to understand SWP in a pragmatic way, in line with their strategic ambitions, we are offering a series of 3 webinars, each lasting 1 hour:

Webinar SWP-1: forward-looking management of jobs and skills as a workforce management technique

Thursday 13 June 2024, 4pm-5pm CET+1

How do you deal with the challenges of resizing your business (growth or decline in activity, company mergers, opening of new operating sites, refocusing, etc.)?

Webinar SWP-2: towards optimised work organisation

Thursday 20 June, 4pm-5pm CET+1

How can SWP help to improve the distribution of activities and skills within the company on a day-to-day basis, and how can we put the right people in the right place at the right time?

Webinar SWP-3: skills for performance

Thursday 27 June 2024, 16:00-17:00 CET+1

How can a SWP approach optimise training plans, through a more targeted approach to the key skills that make the difference? How can skills development become a major lever for economic performance, social cohesion and loyalty?
