As the CNDB points out on its website, on November 6, the Comité National pour le Développement du Bois (CNDB) elected Maximilien Piteau as its new Chairman. Founder and CEO of Avenir Bois Construction, based in Salon de Provence, Maximilien Piteau succeeds Samuel Gardavaud.

In his new role, Maximilien Piteau aims to unite and federate forest and wood industry organizations around the CNDB's actions, from the seed to the uses of wood in construction, renovation, furniture, energy, packaging and transport. His expertise and sense of teamwork are invaluable assets in supporting the development of the French timber industry and helping companies in the sector to meet the challenges of today.

ATIBT congratulates Maximilien Piteau and wishes him every success in his new mission.

The CNDB is an important organization for the promotion of wood, and the ATIBT relies on this dynamic structure to promote the tropical wood sector. Its missions are based on information, communication and training for professionals, as well as promoting the various uses of wood to the general public. The CNDB's ecosystem is made up of more than 50,000 project managers and contractors.
