The Training Commission of ATIBT was re-launched through a meeting held on 12 July in Nogent-sur-Marne.
The challenge of this commission is to match the offers and the demand for vocational training in the wood sector.
Participants mainly represented training organizations: ENSTIB, ESB, ERASMUS and ATIBT members who provide training.
One of the activities of this committee was to establish a database of the number of persons to be trained annually by trade and country in the Congo Basin in order to better define the system to be set up.
A survey will shortly be launched with the industrialists in order to evaluate this demand by sampling.
The next meeting is scheduled for September 13 with the participation of AFD; the representation of industrialists, to shed light on the demand for training, is essential.
