After its reactivation on July 12th, the Training Commission met on September 13th, 2017 in Nogent-sur-Marne, with the aim of meeting the short-term operational needs of companies on training, while integrating more long term objectives.
AFD presented its strategy for the development of training in Africa through concrete examples. ATIBT, with its positioning with members of the private sector and with donors such as AFD, is proving to be a strategic player.
The presentation of a training project will first require an opportunity and feasibility study in which the RIFFEAC must be associated. The collection of information from forestry companies will be facilitated by the setting up of GPEC training with HR managers to identify training needs both qualitatively and quantitatively. 24 entities have volunteered to participate in this commission but a limit of 15 has been defined in order to be more efficient.
