The ATIBT presented the advantages of tropical woods for the realization of outdoor structures to L’Ameublement français at the FCBA in Bordeaux on May 22, 2019.
About twenty manufacturers of outdoor structures (street furniture, playground, shelters, landscaping…) from all over France were present for this information day.
Patrick Martin presented the advantages of the use of tropical woods and especially their technical characteristics.
The day was animated by various stakeholders. It was presented the elements of basic knowledge of wood, including durability, rules of classifications, processing and preservation of sights, finishes on wood supports and technological innovations etc. A visit to the FCBA laboratories was organized.
