Duurzaam Hout BV (DH) was established in 2009 and is based in the Netherlands in Dalfsen, east of Holland.
This company is, since 2016, jointly with Rail Europe – CCB, main shareholder of Somivab, a well-known forestry company in Gabon for the production of Azobe and Okan, and is already a member of ATIBT and UFIGA (Union of Industrial Foresters of Gabon and Homeowners).
Duurzaam Hout imports sawn and / or machined wood from West Africa and the Congo Basin into Europe via the port of Antwerp. It’s mainly Azobe and Okan for the hydraulic market, the railway sector and the landscaping.
Thus, with this membership of Duurzaam Hout, the three companies are members of the ATIBT, and wish to participate actively in the life of the association.
Duurzaam Hout products are partly certified FSC or OLB and soon certified legal TLV.
