A wildlife information system is an online platform for sharing data on animal species, their habitats and the threats they face.

The purpose of this information system is to support your efforts in the sustainable management of biodiversity. It will be integrated into the platform of the Central African Forest Observatory (OFAC) and its features could include the collection and sharing of wildlife data, monitoring of animal populations, habitat mapping and the generation of wildlife reports.
A study has been jointly initiated by FRMi and CIRAD on the feasibility of integrating a Regional Information System on the Wildlife of the Forests of Central Africa into OFAC.

The attached questionnaire invites you to participate in the development of this project by giving 10 minutes of your time to complete a questionnaire that will help define your needs and expectations for the development of this future information system. This questionnaire is intended for a person within your organization who is competent in the field of wildlife data. Your feedback will enable us to launch the co-construction of the project by responding to your expectations as actors in the field.
