The next International Hardwood Conference will be held in Lyon on October 27 and 28, 2022 and registrations are still open.
On Thursday, October 27, a day of visits to two companies will be organized: the LBSA sawmill in the morning and the OGF casket producer in the afternoon. These two visits will be followed by a welcome cocktail.
The conferences will take place on Friday, October 28. They will end with a gala dinner at the Paul Bocuse gastronomic restaurant.

The conference will be an opportunity to analyze wood market trends by focusing on topics of interest to the hardwood industry. Tropical timber will be discussed with presentations from ATIBT and its members. Markets will be discussed in detail, as well as raw material availability, customer industries and research and innovation relevant to the sector.
While the health crisis and the war in Ukraine have had and are still having a strong impact on the timber sector and the global economy, the conference will also focus on the future, as there are many challenges and opportunities for traders and sawyers.
