The next Carrefour International du Bois, to be held in Nantes on 28, 29 and 30 May. The ATIBT is continuing to prepare for this event, with meetings between producers and importers, round tables and conferences on the agenda.
Please note: we would like to draw your attention to the fact that hotels in Nantes are already well booked for this period. If you are planning to attend the CIB, please book your room as soon as possible.
This year, the ATIBT will once again be present in Nantes. We are working on the layout of our 54 m2 stand, which will be located in the "Hall XXL", alongside several of our members (for the first time, the CIB organisation is testing a breakdown of its exhibitors by sector of activity).
Cameroon will be our guest of honour this year. A delegation of representatives from Cameroon's forestry and timber sector will be present, and round tables and workshops on forestry practices and timber products from Cameroon are planned on the stand, with a focus on LKTS.
With 6 months to go before the implementation of the EUDR, events are also planned on this subject: the various tools developed by our members will be presented on the stand, and the ATIBT is co-organising a conference with the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) on Wednesday 29 May from 5pm to 7pm.
