From the 8th to the 12th of May 2024, Crispin Ilunga-Mulala, a PhD student in the UFA-Reforest project, took part in the international "Research & Practice in Forest Ecology" conference at the Kornik Institute of Dendrology in Poland.
Crispin Ilunga-Mulala had the opportunity to present the initial results of his work on growth models for enrichment plantations of timber species in Central Africa in a presentation entitled "Performances of native tree species in plantations: a synthesis for the Guineo-Congolian region".
Crispin is carrying out his doctoral thesis at the Gembloux Agro-Bio-Tech tropical forestry laboratory, as part of the UFA-Reforest funded by the EU project which is conducted by the ATIBT with technical partners such as Nature+, GxABT and ENSET, as well as partner companies Pallisco, Grumcam, SEEF and SEFAC.
