This week, the ATIBT relays an article from the Mémento du Forestier, produced by CIRAD and issued by QUAE. As a reminder, all the data sheets are available on a dedicated page of our website.
Although the founding objective of our Association is to promote tropical wood from sustainably managed natural forests, we have been interested in agroforestry initiatives for several years, as well as in forest plantations. In some countries such as the Ivory Coast, initiatives have existed for decades, and we have recently relayed a project of forest plantations in the Republic of Congo.
Finally, a number of initiatives have been identified by ATIBT in the Flegt REDD project.
