Below is an invitation from the National Strategy to combat Imported Deforestation team for a webinar to be held on Thursday, April 20 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.
In December 2022, European legislators reached an agreement on the draft regulation on the placing on the EU market and export from the EU of some products associated with deforestation and forest degradation. For the record, the products affected by this new legislation are: soy, palm oil, cocoa, coffee, beef, rubber, timber and their by-products.
The French General Commission for Sustainable Development is organizing a webinar on Thursday, April 20, from 2 to 3 p.m., dedicated to the presentation of this regulation and the new obligations of companies.
This presentation is open to all actors concerned or interested by this regulation which should be published in the Official Journal of the European Union in mid 2023.
