The programme
We also share in this newsletter a programme that is not yet completely definitive, but almost. It is now available on the ATIBT website, where it will be regularly updated.
The ATIBT is participating in the organisation of two conferences on EUDR: a conference with AHEC, the American Hardwood Expert Council, on Wednesday 29 May from 5pm to 7pm, and a conference with FNB, the Fédération Nationale du Bois, on Thursday 30 May from 2pm to 4pm. Its members and partners interested in the subject are invited to take part in these discussions.
On the ATIBT stand in Hall XXL, round tables will be held on all 3 days. As announced, Cameroon will be at the heart of the discussions, with exchanges on the issues and challenges of further wood processing in Cameroon, the PES issue for Cameroonian forestry companies, CITES and LKTS, in particular. Other topics will also be discussed on the stand, including the renewal of management plans in tropical countries, tools for marketers to ensure due diligence, and current ATIBT projects.
