On Friday, November the 15th 2024, an exclusive event will be held at the Maison du Climat to help companies and stakeholders understand EUDR requirements, identify potential challenges and explore practical solutions to ensure compliance.
The EUDR will prohibit the marketing of certain products linked to deforestation or forest degradation within the EU. This regulation covers key commodities such as soy, cocoa, coffee, cattle, palm oil, rubber, timber and their derivative products.
At the core of the EUDR are requirements for traceability and transparency. Organisations in France will need to demonstrate that their products pose zero or negligible risks of deforestation or degradation. Achieving this requires comprehensive due diligence, including detailed risk assessments.
In this upcoming seminar, we will bring together our experts and other key stakeholders to share insights and the latest updates on the regulation.
Why attend?
Participants will benefit from a comprehensive overview of the EUDR and its implications for their businesses and learn better practices for due diligence and supply chain traceability. You will also discover available tools and resources to facilitate EUDR alignment.
Additionally, attendees will engage in interactive sessions with industry experts and network with other professionals in the field.
Who should attend?
This seminar, conducted in French, is informative for businesses involved in importing or trading deforestation-related products, as well as suppliers and distributors of raw materials. It will also benefit compliance, sustainability and corporate responsibility professionals, along with representatives from NGOs and government organisations.
