The 10th FSC General Assembly will take place from October the 26th to the 31st of 2025 in Panama. FSC shares initial information for member preparation, including the January 31st, 2025 deadline for motions.
The FSC has just sent its members the first information on preparations for the next General Assembly.
Over the next few weeks, the General Assembly 2025 website will go live. It will contain all relevant information about the members' meeting, sponsorship opportunities, important news and practical information for participants.
The FSC Articles of Association stipulate that a General Meeting of members shall be convened at regular intervals not exceeding three years. The General Meeting is the highest decision-making body of the FSC and limits its responsibility to the revision of the Articles of Association and the Principles and Criteria.
The Board of Directors will appoint a Motions Committee, which will be composed of a balanced representation of chambers and sub-chambers, and will be supported by a designated member of the secretariat staff. The members of the motions committee will be announced after the next board meeting in November 2024.
