Job opportunities: The CITES France Scientific Authority is looking for two experts

Two positions are available with the CITES Authority - France.

The mission of the Natural Heritage Unit (PatriNat) - jointly run by the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (MNHN), the Office français de la biodiversité (OFB), the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) and the Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD) - is to provide scientific and technical expertise in support of biodiversity conservation. Within the MNHN, PatriNat is attached to the Museum's Research, Expertise, Valorization and Teaching Division (DGD REVE), and aims to provide, in close liaison with research activities, scientific expertise on biodiversity and geodiversity in mainland and overseas France (and worldwide), on terrestrial and marine themes, for past and present environments. This expertise and associated engineering covers knowledge of natural heritage, including information systems, and the application of this knowledge to support biodiversity conservation policies and programs.
