ATIBT invites European companies to take part in a professional trip to Cameroon as part of the ASP-Pacte Vert project. Funded by the European Union under the Forest Governance Improvement Program (PAMFOR), this project aims to promote a sustainable and climate-resilient economic model.

A Project Serving the Green Economy

Officially launched on February 24, 2023, in the presence of the Ministry of Forests and Wildlife (MINFOF) and representatives from the European Union, the ASP-Pacte Vert project has three main objectives:

  • Develop a green and local economy that creates jobs in Cameroon.
  • Improve the performance of forestry companies through sustainable practices.
  • Encourage European markets to prioritize purchasing certified and responsibly sourced timber.

This professional trip offers European importing companies a unique opportunity to meet Cameroonian exporters committed to sustainable timber production while supporting an environmentally responsible economic model.

Trip Details

  • Dates: Trips will be organized starting from March 2025, depending on participant availability.
  • Budget: Funding will be provided and adjusted based on the number of participating companies.
  • Participation Confirmation: Interested companies are invited to confirm their participation before January 30, 2025.
